Meditation, Mindfulness

Unhooking from our thoughts.

It’s not the fact that we have minds that produce a lot of thoughts (oh hi 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day) that’s the problem itself, but more that we believe them. We attach to them, get caught up in them and ultimately identify with them. Learning to step back and observe a mental activity, rather than being swept along by 8, is one of the greatest gift we can give ourselves. Cultivating mindful awareness of our thinking doesn’t mean we stop our thought, but we stop being the clueless victim of them.

This mindfulness of thoughts meditation will help you to create space between you and the stream of conscious thoughts that the mind generates.
