4 Week Introduction to Mindfulness course.

When: Saturday October 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 11am-12.30pm.

Where: Robswall, Malahide, Co. Dublin

What can you expect from the course?

You’ll arrive into a warm, kind and non-judgemental space where you get to take the time out to nourish yourself and just ‘be’.

The theory will be blended with lots of practice so that you get to really understand mindfulness through both the head and the heart.

What will I learn?

* How the mind works and how the brain is wired.

* What stress is and how to use mindfulness based practices to manage it.

* How to manage and calm an overactive mind.

* The power of coming down out of the head and into the present moment, to what’s actually happening now.

* How to create space between us and our thoughts so they no longer overwhelm us and dictate our behaviour.

* Techniques for dealing with intrusive thoughts and overwhelming emotions.

* How to accept ourselves, and others, flaws and all!

Who is teaching me?

That’s me, Mar! I teach and coach through mindfulness based techniques having undergone professional training in both mindfulness and coaching through accredited organisations. I’ve also delivered CBT based mental health training, and I’m fully insured to practice. I’m a passionate practitioner of mindfulness myself, having experienced first-hand the power that mindfulness has to help us overcome mental and emotional challenges and just better manage the inevitable difficulties that we encounter in life.

I live and breathe this stuff and it’s a joy and an honour to get to share it with others.

The course is just €110
(for lower or unwaged participants, €95) which includes 4 x 90 minute sessions, all written material and the recorded meditations.
