Looking after our minds is more important than ever – life has become increasingly fast paced and demanding with the mind coming under almost constant stress, both from outside challenges as well as our own internal fears and worries.
Understanding how the mind works and what the optimal conditions are for a healthy mind allows us to create ways of thinking and behaving that are helpful and healthy. Much like we know the ways to mind our physical health to avoid getting sick, taking care of our minds and doing some ‘mental training’ will help protect us from becoming mentally unwell.
In this interactive and insightful group learning, we’ll look at the elements that go into making a healthy, happy mind. You’ll be guided to compassionately look at your own habits and behaviours in order to weed out the ones that are not serving you and learn how to cultivate more positive ones.
Combining wisdom from the worlds of mindfulness, coaching and positive psychology, the workshop will give you practical but effective tools to help you use your mind to create more peace and happiness in your life.
